Edit or cancel a scheduled plan change

Revise monitor actions for a pending downgrade or cancel the change before its effective renewal date.

You can edit or cancel a scheduled downgrade before its effective date. Until then, the current plan and current limits remain active.

Edit the monitor selection

  1. Open Account > Billing.
  2. Find the highlighted Scheduled account change notice.
  3. Select Edit monitor selection.
  4. Review every monitor and choose Keep active, Archive, or Delete.
  5. Choose an allowed interval for each monitor kept active.
  6. Select Schedule plan change to save the revised selection.

The editor rebuilds the selection from the account's current monitors. Review every row rather than assuming a previous archive or delete choice is still selected. The new valid selection replaces the monitor actions previously saved for the pending downgrade.

Cancel the scheduled change

  1. Open the Scheduled account change notice.
  2. Select Cancel scheduled change.
  3. Review the custom confirmation.
  4. Select Cancel scheduled change again.

Uptime Basics releases the future Stripe plan schedule and marks the pending change as canceled. The current plan continues renewing normally, and none of the pending archive, delete, or interval actions are applied.

Timing matters

Editing and cancellation are available only before the scheduled change takes effect. After Stripe has moved the subscription to the lower plan, start a new plan change instead.

Scheduling full subscription cancellation also cancels a pending downgrade. If you later reverse the subscription cancellation, the old downgrade is not automatically restored; schedule it again if you still want the lower plan.

If the action fails

  • Reload the Billing tab to obtain the latest Stripe subscription state.
  • Confirm that Scheduled account change is still visible.
  • Avoid opening the same change in multiple browser tabs.
  • Contact Support if Stripe shows an active schedule but Uptime Basics cannot edit or cancel it.
