Resume a scheduled cancellation

Keep an Uptime Basics subscription active by reversing its scheduled period-end cancellation before service ends.

If a subscription is scheduled to end but has not reached its end date, you can remove the cancellation from the Uptime Basics Billing tab. The current plan then continues renewing normally.

Keep the subscription active

  1. Open Account > Billing.
  2. Find Subscription cancellation scheduled.
  3. Select Don't cancel subscription.
  4. Review the confirmation.
  5. Select Keep subscription active.

Uptime Basics asks Stripe to remove the period-end cancellation. A success message shows the next renewal date after Stripe confirms the change.

What happens next

  • The current plan remains active without a cancellation boundary.
  • Monitoring and alerts continue normally.
  • The Billing overview changes from Ends on back to Renews on.
  • The subscription renews at the normal monthly price on the displayed date.
  • Reversing the cancellation does not create a separate immediate plan charge.

If scheduling the cancellation previously canceled a pending downgrade, that downgrade does not return automatically. Schedule a new plan change if you still want to move to a lower plan.

When the button is unavailable

The Don't cancel subscription action is shown only while a period-end cancellation is still pending. It cannot reopen a subscription that has already reached its end date and entered a final canceled state.

If the subscription has ended, use any new subscription option shown on the Billing tab or contact Support for help reviewing the account state.

If Stripe and Uptime Basics disagree

Reload the Billing tab once. The page reconciles the current Stripe subscription state when returning from billing activity, but webhook processing can take a short time. Do not submit repeated cancellation or resume requests while the first request is still processing.
