The Invoices section under Account > Billing shows up to 12 recent Stripe invoices for the account. Each row includes the date, invoice number, status, total, and any available invoice or receipt action.
Understand the invoice row
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Date | When Stripe created the invoice, displayed using your dashboard timezone |
| Invoice | Stripe's invoice number and a link to its hosted invoice page when available |
| Status | The current Stripe invoice state, such as paid, open, void, or uncollectible |
| Total | The invoice total and three-letter currency code |
| Invoice PDF | Downloads the finalized PDF when Stripe provides one |
| Receipt | Opens the Stripe-hosted payment receipt when a receipt exists |
Credits and prorated plan changes can produce a zero or negative invoice total. Open the invoice to review its line items rather than treating the total alone as an error.
Open a hosted invoice
Select the invoice number to open Stripe's hosted invoice page in a new tab. Depending on its state, that page can show line items, payment status, available payment actions, and invoice or receipt downloads.
Download an invoice PDF
Select the download icon under Invoice PDF. Uptime Basics confirms that the invoice belongs to the Stripe customer connected to your account, retrieves the PDF, and starts a file download.
If the column shows a dash, Stripe has not provided an invoice PDF for that record.
View a receipt
Select the receipt icon to open Stripe's hosted receipt in a new tab. Stripe receipts are browser pages rather than direct files; use the options Stripe provides if you need to save or print one.
A dash means a receipt is not currently available. This can happen when no payment was collected, an invoice is still unpaid, a transaction produced only a credit, or Stripe has not attached a receipt URL.
A $0 invoice created when a free trial starts does not have a separate receipt because Stripe did not collect a payment. The invoice PDF remains available as the billing record for that event.
If invoices do not appear
- Wait for the Billing tab to finish loading.
- Confirm that the account has completed Stripe Checkout or has prior billing activity.
- Reload the Billing tab if a payment or plan change was just completed.
- Select Manage billing in Stripe to review the authoritative customer and invoice history.
- Contact Support with the invoice date or number if Uptime Basics and Stripe show different records. Do not send payment-card details.
